My youngest cat went outside today, she has before but was always afraid.
She did well, played in the grass and climbed one of the trees.

I would rather she stayed a indoor cat but she has a mind of her own.

I feel like a mother who's child has started school for the first time.

Barney went out on the front porch today but the cold wind had him do an about face and come back in.

2. You have a big pretty cat.
I have a big yard and so she has plenty of space to out hang in but I do worry.

Lots of things can happen but she just won't stay in the house now.

4. I know what you mean
I keep my cats in the house 99% of the time. So when they DO go out, it's scary for them. So they always come back after 10 minutes. I know it's not good for them, but they love it so much! So I make it a treat. My oldest likes to take a dirt bath when the weather is warm. Her whites get so filthy I hardly recognize her.

5. Thanks!
They go for a lot of money at the petsmart, but I forget exactly how much. My ex built this one using scraps he found in/around dumpsters for free.
