3. Cable modem has to be reset all the time.
I have an old Motorola Surfboard and I have to unplug it, wait 10, then let it be recognized before it works.

4. Legacy support is an issue with Windows.
My XP machine refused to recognize my old Optiplex scanner, rendering it useless.

I have not tried out the scanner with my new laptop with Vista. I better check it out.

BTW, I did have to reboot since my response to Leftymom in this thread.

5. Won't allow my Vonage to connect.
Refused to work with printer and scanner (both of which are fairly new...only on 3rd set of ink cartridges on printer and scanner is newer) even with the new drivers. Has my network so fouled up I might as well be using smoke signals.

6. "There may be a problem with your network adapter"
No, there isn't, Bill. Vista just turns up its nose at my pre-Vista wireless network, which my XP machine has no problem with at all.

9. I think it is!

I have two word files that i open frequently (parts of the manuscript i'm working on). Whenever i have them open, and save them, it moves other stuff around. I've tried relocating them on the desktop, but it still happens. Maybe my computer is just messing with me cuz it knows i'll be fried after working, and it's trying to make me think i'm losing my mind. Yeah, that's it. ;)

11. Surprising Lenovo put time and effort into Vista drivers
Except for a internal digital raping by Norton, everything else appears to be pretty stable on my R61i, Vista Ultimate, 2GB RAM.
