5. When Mitnick was younger he was an infamous hacker
He got his young ass caught and was sent to prison.

Movies like Hackers and Wargames were based on this guy.

Now that he's out of prison, he's lending his skills to protect the computers of some of the same companies like the ones he hacked.

So the lock pick business card is sort of like him showing his ass that he can get the job done.

8. How do I talk this guy into going out with me?
He's really ambivalent right now, but I feel like if I approach him with the right argument I'll convince him that I'm right and he's wrong.

PS I have 50 IQ points on him. :)

9. First, smile at him
Second, never ever try to convince a guy that he's wrong, even if he is.

That's no way to get a guy.

Your strategy is to make him think that going out with you is his idea, even if it is on a subconscious level.

Tell him that you're an expert on non-verbal cues and you have noticed, without a doubt, that when he's in close proximity to you his body language shows a considerable amount of attraction to you. And most of all, you find that REALLY SEXY!

10. Um, he told me he wanted to get with me
but that it would be a bad idea.

I need to convince him that this is a good idea.

And from what you're saying, that it's HIS good idea. :)

28. Good point...
I already make it a point to wear TIGHT shirts around him... maybe I should go for LOW shirts too.

But I really think he wants to be talked into it more than led into it, ya know?

All his arguments are... easy to argue with. :)

29. I've been avoiding that site for a while since I didn't really have the money to spend...
but now that I'm in a situation where I don't have to pay rent I can start looking again. :)

I actually just stopped at the guitar store to price check and whatnot, had to run an errand on that side of town. They had a few pickups that seemed to be pretty decent there that were fairly well priced. I need to get some more thumbpicks too, nobody ever carries those because only weirdos like me use them.

24. I think I will. Look - I just got this from my uncle. I never knew this.
"He was always there for me, especially as a child. He gave me support in grade school, when I had trouble coping. Dennis was always around, sometimes even more than my parents. . . . I really miss him a lot. He was always kind and gentle towards me, even though he knew I didn't believe as he did."

I love my uncle. We keep in touch sporadically. I can see I'll be in touch with him more often now.

Thank you, Mr S
