Need prayers for my moms dog! She will be having puppies really soon.
Edited on Sat Jan-12-08 08:30 PM by Lady Freedom
It is really hard on her she is a small dog having puppies by a medium size dog! And if one is a male I get it! It can NEVER replace Maverick, but it will help to have a baby around again!
So please pray for a safe delivery!

3. Take her to a vet
before one of them gets stuck and dies.

Then get her fixed so you don't get a repeat performance.

4. Did.
They say there is no worries so far, and it looks to be a day or so away. But he is on speed dial and we are 3 minutes away. This is her first litter and she will be fixed after this. And my siters mama cat is acting like a mid wife. It is the strangest thing to see. The vet says to bring here in with Cheyenne {the dog}when things start to happen.

7. Good, the small dog, midsize puppy thing needed checked out.
Just keep an eye on her to make sure none of them hang up too long, and that she's nursing them all. Other animals have a much easier time of this than humans do- bipedalism and big heads kinda screw up the whole process for us.

6. Why are you waiting? Take this dog to a vet or at least call one and see what they say!
Sorry but, letting a medium size dog breed this little dog is not right! To say nothing about all the dogs that there already are in the country! As far as replacing your dog Maverick, there are many in need of homes that would love to be adopted by someone who cares. Sorry if this sounds harsh, but I see a lot of this kind of stuff and it can be a real heartbreak!

They say all is fine and now one of this puppies will need a home too. But she does look miserable. And no one "let" it happen.

11. Dogs can mate with a chainlink fence between them, that is how my dog came to be.
Things happen.

Hope everything turns out OK for mother and babies.

16. My dog's mother was smaller dog, the father much larger.
Everything turned out OK.

My dog looks like her mother but is big like her father.

Y'all have Vet near if anything happens.

Enjoy the puppies.

20. If I was in charge I would make it very cheap or free to have dogs and cats fixed.
The local governments would save a lot of money not having to deal with unwanted puppies and kittens.

Everything at my house is fixed.

19. for Mama
Dear God, you have given us care over all living things; protect and bless the animals who give us companionship and delight, make us their true friends and worthy companions. Amen.

Dear God, protect and bless all beings that breathe, keep all evil from them, and let them sleep in peace. Amen.
--Albert Schweitzer, "Memoirs of Childhood and Youth"

Blessed are you, Lord God, maker of all living creatures. You called forth fish in the sea, birds in the air and animals on the land. You inspired St. Francis to call all of them his brothers and sisters. We ask you to bless this pet. By the power of your love, enable it to live according to your plan. May we always praise you for all your beauty in creation. Blessed are you, Lord our God, in all your creatures! Amen.
--Franciscan prayer
