5. I wonder about Christopher Robin's choice of footwear...

Mary Janes? Some sort of backless clog? In any case they don't seem appropriate for traipsing around Hundred Acre Woods.

9. Nope,
I grew up with British parents. Most kids of a certain era (and Christopher was long before me) wore leather sandals with socks. I had a pair, for all I know kids still wear them, but I doubt it.

They were certainly sold and very popular for kids in England in the 1960's. Perhaps they got their start in Christopher's era.

Maybe they don't have them anymore, but they never wore out and were extremely comfortable. I loved mine, but never wore them in public in the US when I was a kid. Saddle shoes were all the rage here in those days.

17. That was awful.
Everybody else in the Hundred Acre Wood had a picnic right in front of him while he had to starve to get himself "unfatter".

Disney has ruined Winnie-the-Pooh and will suffer eternal torments for such blasphemy :grr: :grr: :nuke: :grr: :grr:
