God dammit!!! Why can't I find a normal toothbrush?
Am I the only one having this problem? I've looked high and low for a regular traditional toothbrush - many stores, hours (or maybe it just seems that way) online - I'm turning up nothing.

Listen a'holes of corporate America. I want a toothbrush that's not all twisty and gimicky all to hell, that doesn't have rubber bits glued on or have a handle like I want to club baby seals with the damn thing.

Aestheticallly, I like deep transparent colors. Not that ugly white plastic with the rubber stripes.

Anybody have a solution to my insanity?

:hi: CVS has them here. It's a normal toothbrush with semi-transparent handles. Mine is green. It's not a gimmicky brush.

2. Rummaging about in a land-fill?

Who knows what hidden gems await us in these archaelogical trasure troves of the soon to be "ancient" past... Telephones that ring properly instead of going beep or singing the theme tune from Hawaii 5-0 at you. Typewriters. Remember typewriters? They don't crash! And they don't get bored and conveniently "forget" things. Also, if your cat sits on them it doesn't put them into some weird schizophrenic state such that your monitor thinks its been turned 90 degrees clockwise and tries to correct itself accordingly.

Anyway, haven't you had your teeth upgraded? Surely you're not one of those sad luddite still plugging away on Teeth 1.0? No-one supports them anymore.

4. My teeth are even older than my toothbrush.
I'm getting long in the tooth and my toothbrush is getting short in the bristle. Actually, dentists want to lengthen our teeth nowadays, for some godforsaken reason. First time I heard that one I thought the dentist was joking. A new way to get their grubby mits on that insurance money?

I learned to type on a manual typewriter. "And we liked it!"
