TV Writers, Please for the love of the Flying Spaghetti Monster....
please end your strike soon. Companies, please give in to the demands of the writers.

We need something to watch.

I cannot take the schlock that is on tv right now.

1. The big four networks have scrapped the rest of the season...
Even if the writers were to get what they wanted tomorrow, we are still screwed until the fall. It sucks I know. I'm scared my favorite show, the big bang theory is gone for good. It's too good to be gone.

2. TV Producers, Please realize that the writers are the lifeblood of your industry
And what they are asking for is to be given fair compensation for their labor.

Producers, quit being greedy fucks.

9. I would die without my BBC torrent hookup...
well not exactly die but I would certainly read more. This strike makes TV too depressing to watch anymore.

4. oh crapola, have you tried to watch what they're
substituting mid-season? "Cashmere Mafia" (as a pseudo-Sex and the City)? IT SUCKED SO BAD!

I just miss Boston Legal. Only other thing I watch is Project Runway or Top Chef or maybe some Food Network stuff, maybe Mystery! or Masterpiece Theater on PBS every once in a while, so I'm not hurting that badly, but I really, really miss Denny and Alan!

5. Did you miss last night's episode?
I think there are still 3(maybe 4) to be aired. :-)

6. NOOOO!
 Have no idea what I was doing, how I could have missed it!

I did miss it, yes - can you give me a recap? I just need to rent all the seasons - I didn't really *discover* the show until last year (we didn't have TV until last year...)

7. I can understand how you could have missed it since BL is the most pre-empted show
on ABC.

Denny was front and center last night with the case of a woman who had murdered her husband by bashing his head with a shovel. After forbidding Alan to assist him, due to Alan getting all the good cases and leaving Denny out of the spotlight, he proceeded by trying to employ the temporary insanity defense. He tried bribing a doctor to testify using that scenario and when she refused another route was chosen. The woman was diagnosed as being peri-menopausal, which triggered her impulse to kill him, and this defense wasn't challenged by the DA. After setting up the viewer to believe Denny was about to crash and burn (his mad cow has manifested itself in even more erratic and buffoonish behavior) the client was found not guilty on all three counts. (gotta love TV lawyers). :-)

Meanwhile Jerry has been diagnosed with Tourrette's (sp?) which led to some extremely funny scenes when he was asked to defend a woman who sued a lawyer for a sleazy advertising campaign that she claimed manipulated her husband into leaving her. Also Katie is starting to warm up to Jerry and his "endearing" traits.

I'm kind of lousy at recaps but I hope this gives you a taste. :-)

Tune in next week. :D

10. thank you!
great recap, actually :) I appreciate it. I get a little nervous when they're focused on Denny - I kind of like Alan's grandstanding closings; Denny makes me nervous. Sounds like a good one, though.

I really like Jerry -- I'll have to look for it on rerun. Why the hell do they preempt BL so much, when it wins awards continually?
