It was..."interesting".
Long and short of it is they taught us how to use silverware in a way that is both foreign to me, and insanely hard to do as I had to switch up which hand I held stuff in (Apparently us lefties are doing it wrong.). Let me tell you, trying to pick up peas on the back of a fork with your non-dominate hand is not an easy task.

Nothing about the proper way to do lines in a trendy NYC club, though.

People's table manners nowadays are goddamn sick atrocious.
One would think that most people were born in filthy barns to parents who ate like animals.

6. My wife is trained in etiquette, Japanese-style |
|
She's a certified tea ceremony teacher among other things, so I've had someone making sure mine were up to snuff for a little while. Even still, a lot of the stuff presented was absolutely fascinating.

10. I lived there for awhile, my wife's mother... |

Is a certified tea master (teacher of teachers) and really went out of her way to welcome me to the family. She also ran the most civil dinner table I have ever seen.

13. Which hand did they tell you to use? |
|
I was raised with fork in left-hand and knife in right - I'm a lefty too.
The peas on the back of the fork thing does take a little while to get used to.
