people still treat me like I'm a young thang.

Maybe it's because I'm quite petite and look "young" for my age :)

I don't feel old, but somehow society still likes to remind you that, hey, it's 40.
I'm thinking, so the hell what? I'll do what I want to do when I want to do it, and screw anybody who says otherwise!

11. I say this because I'm a late bloomer......

and am really just discovering that yes, I get older in years, but I'm slowly coming into my own, so to speak.

I'm getting better and I'll be darned if people would think me "old". I feel like a little kid sometimes. :)
