I'm a quick thinker & slow typist...
When responding to a thread, by the time I get my thoughts out, the fast thinker/typists often make me look like a blithering idiot by my posting stuff I should've checked on before I hit the "submit" button.

Bur if I check to see what was written while I was slowly writing - my exercise in spontaneity becomes even that much more lame!

I also have a propensity for continual self-editing (and then there's the inevitable "spell check").

From the time I feel I have a great responsive thought to the time I get it out -- I often feel like a reverse Forest Gump!

Suggestions?

(Don't ask me how long it took for me to get this OP out.)

1. That happens to me too. I've even written many things only to
press the back button and not post a thing.

2. Some things are better slow...

Okay seriously now. What difference does it make how quickly or slowly you respond? As long as you're chatting and responding, no one will know it took you 20 minutes to come up with that perfect one-liner. IMHO, of course. YMMV.

3. Thank you ...
My frustration lies in that my responses all too often come across as cheap renditions of earlier responses (even though {taken on their own} they may be essentially germain to the topic).

Now, how boring is that!?

(I think I just answered my own question.)
