this reminds me of my trip last Spring to CA. My guy and I went to the San Diego Wild Animal Park, who was having a special exhibit with butterflies- in a bird room. It is called the Butterflies and orchid event. http://www.sandiegozoo.org/calendar/wap_butterflies_orchids.html

It was so cool to see these butterflies flying freely among all of these birds. Made me wonder, though- why don't the birds eat them? A volunteer answered that question for me- the birds in that exhibit eat mostly vegetarian! The park does this event every spring and it is well worth a trip.
