Snow!!! In Alabama!!! (pics)

I took these pics this morning. The weather is saying that we have hours more of snow to come!!! I know for you yankees this seems like no big deal, but for us southern people this is awesome!

we didn't get any snow here in Arkansas but it is a balmy 28 and got down to 19 last night :scared:

have fun, and stay off the roads, I know how inexperienced drivers (everyone else of course) drive in the snow

3. It snowed for about two hours this morning
I was watching it through the doors at Gorgas and thought there would be a decent ground cover but when I went outside there was nothing sticking to the ground. :cry:

Looks like ya'll are getting more in the Southern part of the state.

6. we aren't in the southern part of the state
we are in between birmingham and montgomery.

it's still snowing here.. and it's coming down pretty hard. they are saying that it is going to keep up like this for hours there's a lot more on the ground now than when i took those pics.

26. the snowman..
we had a dusting Thursday, it was beautiful for a while!, and one of my neighbors got together enough snow to make a kinda tall snowman. So today most of the snow has melted and I walked by their yard while ago and it's the most filthy thing. Like they must have stacked up some mud and packed all the snow they had onto it. I wish I'd had my camera, it was DESPERATE :rofl:
