15. Yep. 214 episodes.
Sci-fi had a really successful Friday-night block with Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis, and the new Battlestar Galactica. All three shows were scheduled to start their new seasons (10th, 3rd, and 3rd) when Sci-fi decided to break up the Friday-night block and stopped advertising the new season of SG-1. After a few episodes of the 10th season, Sci-fi formally announced that they weren't renewing the show for an 11th season.

MGM, which has been making lots of money off the franchise, tried to get another network to pick up the show, and when Sci-fi blocked them them from switching networks, MGM green-lighted two direct-to-DVD movies and potentially a second spin-off.

13. That was more of a 'revival' with a different Captain.
I'm thinking of shows that got dropped and picked up right after that by another net.

8. 'Late Night with David Letterman'
There's a technicality here, as CBS re-named it "The Late Show with David Letterman." But they didn't fool anybody. :P

17. "The Critic"
An animated show from the same people behind "The Simpsons". "The Critic" was on both Fox and ABC.

I, personally, very much liked "The Critic". :-)
