It's kind of creepy here right now...
my metal roof and the sleet, and the wind, and it's quiet, and i'm alone :scared:

kinda creepy feeling actually

20. I'm weird, I admit it
I'm weird. I read books like this to decompress at night. If I read something too closely tied to my job (law) or political career (municipal finance, procurement reform, etc), I get wound up. If it's little grey nasties, eight foot tall bipedal simians, spectral creepies, or the like, I'm fine.

Now, off to bed to finish that new book on the Betty and Barney Hill abduction...

tured: The Betty and Barney Hill UFO Experience


The Hill's are buried about a mile and a half from my parent's house, so I have a local interest in this particular case.

Interesting side note: Betty, who died a couple of years ago, was a staunch Democrat. Barney, who died in his 40s, was also a political activist, serving as a chair of the local NAACP chapter and as a member of the state human rights commission. In the book, there's a picture of the Hills with US Sen. Tom McIntyre and Congressman Ollie Huot at the LBJ presidential inauguration.
