4. I voted for beer, because "whatever Lee L. Mercer Jr.'s favourite drink is" wasn't an option
...and it would really depend on what beer - could I have loads of different beers? Whisky is a close second, but the same question applies.

18. you are not keeping up.
there are so many good american beers now. if you can buy bells where you are, you will love it. you gotta find a place that takes good care of it, tho. no preservatives, skunks up pretty quick. goose island is really good, too. if you can afford the reserves, they are fabulous. if you are ever in chicago, do go to the pub. very fresh, and many more varieties.

Edited on Mon Jan-21-08 10:55 PM by Rabrrrrrr
If you didn't mean "one type of liquid to drink for the rest of your life" and meant "only one drink at any given random time", then my answer is usually a Martini.

and what else I'm doing. If it's w/ dinner, a great class of wine may be in order, or a really cold wonderful glas of beer (depending on what I'm eating)

or a vodka martini

76. Water with plenty of ice
By far the best drink in the world. In fact, I was drinking it when I found this thread.

I can't imagine drinking crap sodas or coffee or tee, etc. as opposed to awesome aqua.

The only annoyance is restaurants that insist on sticking a worthless piece of lemon in the water. I want water, dammit, not some pathetic contrivance.

I eat at home so often largely because I can't trust restaurants to steer clear of cheese when I don't want it and lemon when I don't want it.
