Bands that weren't really bands, but parodies, named after the shows on BBC2 that introduced them

and were written by and starred ex-Monty Python cast members � which themselves (the shows, not the ex-Monty Python cast members � though you should've known that by the use of "which" rather than "whom") were named for tiny counties in the middle of England, which, in turn, have cities in Vermont named after them.
