Once upon a time there was a girl named Otherlander.

Instead of going to math class, she went for a hike at a wilderness reservation. Then she drove her car to the library, and got two books of poetry, one of which was by Martin Espada, who happens to be extremely awesome. Then she drove home and it was snowing but only a little and she opened her door and her dog was there and her dog was very very happy to see her and the radio was singing love. The end.

Obligatory disclaimer: This story, of course, is entirely a work of fiction. Any resemblance to actual persons or events is entirely coincidental.

This would be a perfect opportunity for me to introduce Mad Libs to your story, but good taste prevents me from doing so...

2. I think a trip to Olive Garden would make this story complete!!
Where the herione to our story read her book of poetry while munching on breadsticks and unlimited wine bar.

3. Um, why the hell did she skip math class?
I can see skipping, say, PE. But math? That's the class what makes life worth living!
