I did it! I finally made someone's Ignore list!
After 7 years on DU (wow, that long?), I have arrived!! I made someone's Ignore list, and they were even kind enough to PM me to let me know they would no longer be viewing my threads (so I guess this one is safe, huh?). And apparently there were several of us put on The List at the same time. I am so thrilled.

Yayeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

5. Here's what you do.
Start a thread using their PM, but add in stuff (like how you scare them because you remind them of their inadequacies, etc). They won't complain because, hey, you're on ignore!

8. Maybe not such a great idea.
1) It's against the rules to call out other DUers, even those who may have us on ignore.
2) The OP of this thread doesn't imply that the other person was being malicious, and the P in "PM" stands for private. Posting private correspondence from other DUers _does_ seem malicious, though.

15. I'm not saying you were calling anyone out.
But if, as another poster in this thread suggested, you posted the PM, that could be considered calling out. :hi:

I kind of think it was a civil gesture for that other person to send you a PM letting you know that you were going on "ignore," so that you'd understand why that person was no longer replying to your posts. :shrug:

26. It was only after I became a Lounge Lizard.
I had previously tried to be a thoughtful, respectful, insightful, non-combative poster in GD/GDP. Coming to the Lounge ruined me. But in a good sort of way.
