and it makes for interesting times.

I am please, however, to report that my SO re-registered to Democrat so he could support Edwards in the NV caucus last week. So, now I'm married to a Dem ... well, sort of a Dem. ;) There are some things about his politics that will never change.

222. I think a lot of people here (not you)....
...just assumed he's a righty (which is freaking hilarious if you actually know him), and never quite "got" that he simply wanted people to debate intelligently (he does have a degree in semantics, after all). He hated the "me too" echo-chamber effect that often goes on here--and so do I.

He's moved considerably left since he was TS'd, but he's still hyper-intelligent and a born contrarian (but also the kindest, gentlest person you'll meet), and I love him more than life itself.

It was more than half, over a small sample of a few days. And that continued at Kos. I almost mentioned it to him but he didn't need to be ribbed.

I believe Jiacinto was banned after posting negative comments in a 2004 primary thread, one that was set up solely for supporters of the candidate. I think it was a Sharpton thread.

I kept in touch with Jiacinto for a while by email after he was banned. He said the mods received many complaints about him and warned him, and were probably fed up about it, and then decided to ban him once the high-profile Sharpton incident happened.

I miss Jiacinto but this busted me up. Jiacinto was annoyed that he had just donated the 5 bucks for his DU star shortly before being banned. :rofl:

I know beyond any doubt Misunderestimator and Progmom were, I don't know about NSMA.

I met Misunderestimator once, and then got a PM form Progmom saying we had met at a Protest once. Now, I have a pretty damn good memory and I know I never met a Progmom, but I sure as hell did meet a Misunderestimator.

A public radio station in Ypsilanti Michigan that 1GoBlueDem works at.

I mentioned once that I did not like it and preferred Minnesota Public radio.

Since then, I have been attacked at every chance by the tombstoned DUers under discussion here, and 1GoBluieDem for it.

I've been to a few meetups and there are some people I couldn't keep straight. I even confused LiberalHistorian with LiberalNurse once, to my embarrasment and shame. But we can't ALL have flawless memories like jasonc's.

But the worst by FAR was the time Beware the Beast Man was fucking me and I called out Blue-Jay's name. :blush:

I guess it would be less offensive if you say that you don't like the kind of music they play, rather than saying that the station sucks. Too bad you never listened on Sunday mornings. Arwulf and The Sunday Best plays all early jazz, and the Grooveyard was all 50s and 60s jazz. And not sure if you ever heard Jessica, but she plays a good mixture of all styles.

Jessica used to be "Progmom" on DU. You met her and her young son and her partner (who used to be "Misunderestimator" on DU) last summer at the daily protest.
