some crazy lady went OFF on me at Costco for slowing down in an aisle....
All I did was slow down to read the label on a jar of four bean salad and she SCREAMED at me: "Oh my God, MOOOOOOVE!!!!" and "Did you not just see me standing here, asshole??"

I'm afraid to go back there now....

2. Could she get by you or were you blocking the aisle?
If there was no way for her to get by you then she was just saying what most of us think. I don't know how many times I have seen an inconsiderate halfwit on one side of the aisle looking at something while their shopping cart blocks the other side. If she could get by you easily then she was on crack.

So, could she pass you?

3. My own mother, God rest her soul, was one of those oblivious shoppers...
She would block the entire aisle with her shopping cart while she looked around. When I would shop with her, I would keep reminding her to "stay to the right", so other shoppers could pass.

Oh, and she drove her car like that, too. Constantly I reminded her the left lane was for "passing".
I am glad she was not the one to teach me how to drive, but then again, I would have given her a stroke most likely.

Some stores are worse than others for "cloggers" (people who clog the aisles).
I find Harris Teeter shoppers are notorious for this...don't know why.

I thought costco was one of those places with huge wide aisles and shelves 10 ft up in the air ??
It doesn't matter if she couldn't get around there is no reason to be rude I am so tired of it. People like that woman need to just order from pea pod or some other computer grocery place and let every one else shop in peace, lord you held her up for all of maybe 3-4 minutes? Chill pills needed on aisle 4 stat!

7. she must be the woman I encountered a few weeks ago
This woman was standing in front of the dairy case with cart, children, and husband, arguing with the husband about the type of milk to buy. Four customers were waiting for them to finish and move on. They finished the argument, and then the woman aimed her cart at me and said, rudely, "Get out of the way; you can't hog the aisles!" I politely said "We all were just waiting for you to finish." "Don't be a bitch!" was her retort, and she kept mouthing off as she walked away.

Some people. I felt sorry for her little kids.
