Oh my. I just made the BEST hot dip for crackers....
Cream cheese, shredded Monterey Jack cheese, white wine, milk, dry mustard, and chives. YUM.

3. I halved the recipe -
Four ounces of softened cream cheese, about 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack, 1/4 cup white wine, 1 tablespoon milk, 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard, 1 tablespoon chives.

Melt the cheeses over low heat, stirring until smooth and blended. Add the rest of the ingredients. Serve hot. If you wanted to do the full recipe, you could put it in a chafing dish or fondue pot. We're dipping Wheat Thins in it.
