Clover is one giant exposed nerve ending. She never saunters--she leaps straight up in the air and yowls at whatever freaked her out (me, Mr. MG, MG Jr., a sofa, air...) while she's beating a retreat to a safe zone, usually Mr. MG's lap. Apparently she was the runt of her litter (she was a stray so I don't know her history), but she's still only 8 lbs. at around 13 years old, because she's too nervous to retain weight.
