Locked out
Somebody left the catch on the front door so that even the key could not open it. Three apartments share that door. Finally after about five minutes of bell ringing I lost it and hammered really angrily on the door. That made someone come.

6. i'm glad you got in, sweetie
a few years ago, i got locked out of my dad's house. i had used the spare key to get in and then left the spare key and my car keys in the house (i didn't have his house key on my key ring at the time).

so i got the ladder, climbed up to a second floor window, pulled the screen out and crawled through the window. i would have just gone through the basement like i used to when i was younger and locked out, but all those windows were locked.

oh yeah...i was in a skirt and heels, too

i :rofl: every time i think about that...i hope it at least made you grin

8. The only time I ever locked myself out of here by my own fault
it was a blazing hot summer's day, I was washing the car out back, and I'd left all the windows wide open. And I'm on the ground floor. So I was pretty lucky, although I felt rather shifty climbing in through the front window. :blush:
