Is it permissible for me to spend the day in my bed with my laptop?

3. *shudder* After the stomach flu that ripped through our family last week.
While on vacation in Key West I must add (actually it really is a funny story that emphasizes the difference between men and women...I really must take the act on the road) a bottle of vodka sounds like death in liquid form.

5. Does your family call too much drinking at Sloppy Joe's "stomach flu"?
Just kidding -- I'd forgotten about that.

How about: tea and toast.

7. Oh I wish. DH brought Norwalk Virus back from England with him.
Bastard!

He had it on Sunday and the rest of us got it the following Thursday and Friday. Had the nerve to complain about being bored because all we wanted to do was lie around in agony in the condo while he wanted to go out and do something fun. He threw up once and was done. The rest of us got sick anywhere from 7-19 times. My poor 7 year old. 19 times!

Can I just say that even if it was the absolute best Indian food I've ever had in my life, curry hurts when it comes back up. ;)

Bet that's more than you wanted to know, eh?

12. Thank the UU Gods!!!!!!!!
Hey, we may be needing the belly button piercings if you meant the offer.

(I prefer to stay in the Middle Keys like Big Pine Key and drive north or south to do stuff... even though THAT'S gotten built up, too...).

14. Key West is an annual January pilgrimage for us because...
my husband's parents own a time share down there. Mooching big time!

Already sent off the belly rings, sorry!

4. The four year old is rooting for Dora for President.
I'm beginning to think he has a point. At least she has a map.

6. but where in the world IS Carmen Sandiego, anyways?
Does Dora have the map to her, too?

Might be a good plank in the party platform.

8. Hiding out with Cheney? Might make for a perfect VP.
On the other hand, I just asked four year old who should be Dora's running mate and he suggested the Power Rangers. Okay.

15. BWAAAHAA!!!! The idea of them tidying up their rooms is hilarious.
This is the perfect opportunity for them to trash 'em. They've got their cousin here to help.

I do have Animal Planet blaring in the other room. They are addicted to Orangutan Island for some reason.

No way am I taking them out in public.

Now the polling thing has some merit. Hmmmmmm......

I took him with me to the America Votes office, and he stuffed and labeled some envelopes. It was kind of cool.

I only have one, I admire your strength with a big crew...
