Do I have any chance of winning this?

I had knee surgery in Nov. About a week before the surgery I got a call from a company saying that the doctor had ordered this special ice machine for my recovery. They said, if your insurance doesn't cover it, it will cost approximately $250.00. They asked if I still wanted it. Well, I knew I could cover 250 if insurance didn't pay, so I said yes.

On the day I got the machine I signed a work order that said 0.00 due on delivery.

Now I've received a bill for $630.00. I wrote them a letter that said, you advised me on the phone that it would cost $250.00. I would not have accepted delivery if I had been advised it was $630.00.

Unless they recorded the conversation there is no proof the woman told me it would cost $250.00. Am I screwed or do I have an argument?
