i was driving down clark street at around 6:15 a.m.

this cabbie does a U turn right in front of me and slices off about 1/3 of the available road space.

i slid in front of him in a pin type turn where your front end pivots at an angle in front of theirs like 5-0 and shit. i asked him, "what, are you a fuckin' asshole?" and he started cussing me out and we flipped each other off. then i banked back into traffic and went to work.

i've only owned a car for about two weeks, but i am REALLY enjoying it so far.

shit man... I'm glad you like it. I used to live in Chicago, but I've never liked driving there, and I never liked driving anywhere south of North (I realize now that that sounds weird - but you'll no what I mean) - I'd always take the L going into the loop. I would love to move back there, but one of the reasons I'd like to is because it's a city where you don't NEED a car.
