-40 is the same for Celsius and Fahrenheit.

One of those cool geeky science facts that turn us engineers on.

(obviously, if you were using Kelvin or Rankin scales, you would have needed a qualifier; my statement applies as truth only for the two normal scales used, Celsius and Fahrenheit)

9. Hey! How ya doin'?

It was below -40 (wind chill) here in Calgary Monday and Tuesday, but I know you guys had it worse. Mrs. Ironflange had to go up on Monday, and said her fingers froze between the parking lot and the hotel, and that was in balmy Leduc, not even Edmonton.

10. Hiya!

I'm like you - cold!

Monday was a killer - unbelievably cold. I think the wind chill was something like -47. My bones are still chilled from then. We had a blizzard the day before.

I got my passport yesterday, and am getting the hell out of here for awhile. :bounce:
