Favorite radio station?

Listen live. It's the best radio station in the country IMO.

29. I hope NovaM plans on buying some more streaming servers soon.
If McCain becomes the 'Pukes nominee, they're going to be the "hometown source" for dirt on McCain. Jeff Farias might become one of the most popular talk show hosts in the country, even though he's not even broadcast outside of Phoenix.

I made it onto a few ignore lists for saying that same thing a while back...

Personally, I think KSJN is better, but Minnesota Public Radio overall, is fantastic.

Looks like it was more about the guy saying he hated a different station than saying he liked Minnesota Public Radio.

10. WBJC (for music) and WYPR (for news/talk) - unfortunately, the signal for WWRC is kind of weak where
I live, so it kind of fades in and out as the day goes on.

Edited on Wed Jan-30-08 04:43 PM by 1gobluedem
Disclaimer, though, I work there. :)

We're NPR news and information, jazz, and blues -- award winning. David Isay creator and producer of StoryCorps recently visited and told me that we exemplify true community radio more than any station he's ever been to. Since I raise the money and do the marketing and promotion, that made me feel pretty good.

32. Howard 100 and Hard Attack on Sirius.
On local terrestrial radio I listen to 93.3 WMMR which is actually not bad for a commercial rock station. They mix some old school Metal and some deeper cuts of classic bands in with a dose of more modern stuff to go with the format's staples. On AM I'll listen to the local sports talk which is 610 WIP. I have no Air America here and Talk Left on Sirius isn't great. All the political talk stations here are right wing. Philadelphia radio has never been great.
