I wasn't here for the evening of my birthday.
I missed a lot of you. :(

On the one hand, I'm very glad I was taken out for my birthday. I was taken out to see the Iron Man movie and then to dinner. :)

on the other hand, I'm sorry I wasn't here to post a gazillion times with all of you. Okay, a gazillion is a small exageration. I can't type nearly that fast with four working fingers. But I still would have posted a hell of a lot. :P

While I was out at dinner tonight I found out that it's very, very fortunate that I'm alergic to narcotic painkillers.

Because of that alergy, I have to take prescription strength antihistamines every day. Because I take those antihistamines every day, if I accidentally come in contact with something else I'm alergic to I have a less severe reaction than I might otherwise have. Case in point, Italian Restaurants sneak butter into places you don't expect it. I accidentally ate a small amount of dairy. I think it's a rule that this has to happen twice a year for some reason.

My food alergy still made breathing painful, caused some pain from muscle cramps, and gave me a headache. But it was nothing compared to what it would have been if I didn't have the meds in me already. So I had a small adventure in the restaurant after the movie. I'm very happy to report that it was a very minor situation.

So, to recap: I saw a good movie, I had a great dinner, I was with wonderful company, and I discovered a silver lining. How cool is that? :7

11. Thank you!

It wasn't at all what I expected. I don't know if it was a wonderful birthday in spite of that or because of that. :P
