I think I need to get refunds from a few companies, now that I've found out how short 3,000 miles is

For starters, AirTran owes me one hell of an apology for keeping me in the air for 12 hours flying me "practically next door." I'd also like an explanation of why such a short flight went through Atlanta, of all places. And how they managed to mangle my suitcase in such a short trip, I'll never know. Now that I know what a short distance 3,000 miles is, I'm driving to flvegan's next time. Even with the price of gas, a short trip shouldn't run me $400 plus a new suitcase, and I wouldn't have to deal with non-reclining seats or flatulent old punks.

Second, the phone company people have been ripping me off something awful. I pay them extra for unlimited domestic long distance, and it turns out it's probably a local call from here to Florida. I'm looking into a class action suit.

Thank goodness somebody in GD:P set me straight, I can't believe they were exploiting my lack of geographical awareness all this time.
