Damn the brewers of Fat Tire, Damn them to hell!!!!!
For making their beer so tasty and good. I drank way too much of it today.

today we had our local graduation party for my Fiance and someone brought a shitload of Fat Tire...

Damn them to hell too...:P`

But, we had a great time celebrating again her graduation from grad school, even if the weather was a bit chilly.

So if my posting tonight is a bit weird, or I cant seem to spell, that is my excuse...

to fully appreciate it, get outside a bit, get up north, enjoy the seasons, then, you will appreciate it.

2. Fat Tire is a fine brew.
Things could be worse..."someone" could have brought a shitload of Zima...or Miller High Life...or Natural Light...or...God help us all...Hamms.

Seriously.

edit: actually, the someone that brought it is my Fiances dad, he brought it because he knows I like it. I was going to let him in no matter what, this was a bonus!

13. If you enjoy Fat Tire, try Bells
Red Ale, or Lake Superior Red, if it's available in your area.

:hi:

15. The Bells is a certainty...
the Lake Superior red, I will have to research.

Thanks for the tip.

However, I like Fat Tire not only because it tastes good, but because the brewer is good. Flvegan clued me in to it, but they use wind power generation and are very good to their employees.

just another reason to drink good beer as far as I am concerned.

18. They are excellent brewers and people.....
Edited on Sat May-03-08 11:01 PM by Bennyboy
Some of thier other beers are really good too, most I think are even better than Fat Tire. I love that they have a mission not only to make money but make it in such a way that does not harm everyone else. Some other Colorado brewers could take NBB's cue on that.

BTW< if you like the belgian style that is Fat Tire, try Brother Thelonious from North Coast. It is like all the flavors of Fat Tire that are kind of muted are way more distinct and are dancing around in your mouth.

27. a lot of businesses could take their cue on that
i also agree that most of their brews are much better than fat tire...i live where the beer is brewed, so i can get all of them and fat tire is at the bottom of my list.

31. Mine too....but it is different than any other
beer readily available...so it gets run. Where I live (NORCAL) it is almost a ubiquitous as Sierra Nevada. Great marketing and having something different enough from all the others.... the rest of BB beers, while great, all fall into a category, one that has been filled over and over again....
