I'm giving notice at my toxic job today

I'm on vacation this week, but I'll call it 2 weeks notice. I doubt they'll want me to work that last week since I'm such a waste of payroll....so I guess I hand her the keys too? what's the protocol here? :hi:

10. same here.

I'm in a very toxic place. I've got mine ready to launch.
I arrive yesterday totally relaxed, by 9 am I've got a knot in my stomach.
And it is all cuased by very poor people skills on the part of one of my
bosses.
Several people have jumped ship cause of this person.

I like the money, but I figure it's not worth my health to stay here
to much longer.

And sign me up for the club!

I found this googling about and with minor tweaks, I will be writing it up.

It is with great regret and tremendous disappointment that I find it necessary to resign my position as effective as of ______ (last day).

I appreciate the opportunity to have been a part of such a (great/well respected/etc) organization. I leave a stronger nurse for having been in your company.

19. that's exactly what I did

in my head. Told her the store looked great for the DM's impending visit, then handed her the envelope with the above mentioned letter and my keys and simply said "this is my 2 week notice" and walked away. It feels amazing. I highly recommend it for anyone who can do it. Believe me, I know how very fortunate I am that my husband's employment will take care of us just fine for awhile. :hi:
