Never fails. The so-called Bush Stimulus Check arrived today and wouldn't you know it...
the Anti-Lock Brake Light comes on, as if on schedule, in the Buick.

Syanara Tax Rebate.

I suspect the republicans are behind this. There has to be some kind of connection between the car trouble lights and the CIA. They gather the information and send it to the treasury department while Commerce keeps an eye on us. They must almost monitor DU because I stated, in a previous thread, that I was going to put some of the check in the IRA and the rest to pay down the rest of my credit card balance.

Damn you Capitalist Pigs.

Can us little folk never get ahead...

1. Cars *know* when you get a little extra money.
They just wait to break until you have some money that you'd planned to spend on something else; then, cackling insanely, they drop their transmission or blow a head gasket. Never fails.

2. Oh, that sucks!
They must have some sort of signal in the car that alerts them...

How dare they come between you, your Tax Rebate, and your IRA?

:grr:

4. My brake light has been on for a year.
I suspect it is the sensor, since the brakes work fine.

6. Mine's been on for a decade
it's probably just a faulty sensor, the brakes work fine.
