L O S T
Has no one started a thread?

This was a great episode.

I guess it just now dawned on me why Locke survived being shot by Ben. He cannot be killed.

And Richard appearing all of a sudden.

3. That would seem logical except
I thought Jacob was supposed to be "part of" the island somehow, and if that's the case, would he be able to leave?

6. It's a total possibility- EXCEPT
that in the future he asks Hurley if they are all still alive.
If HE is Jacob, wouldn't he still be on the moved island?

4. "we have to move the island"...
my first thought was the Simpson's episode where homer becomes sanitation commissioner. He fouls up the town so bad (can't someone else do it?) that the town has to resort to "Plan B".

Plan B is moving springfield 10 miles up the road.

LOL

Other than that I thought it was a good episode.

Notice too that Micheal can't be killed until he completes whatever it is that he has to complete. Mercenary guy, wasn't able to shoot him (gun jammed).

Ben is now like everyone else. What's Jacks roll in that since he got appendicitis?

So is Clair dead? or just on a sabbatical from life?

I loved the shot of Hurley and Ben sharing the candy bar. LOL

Where is the helicopter going to?

5. My thoughts.....
1. Claire is dead. She died in the house explosion. The Island being THE ISLAND, she was able to still walk around. She didn't "cross over" until Christian came to get her. Keep in mind that during the last episode when Claire, Sawyer, Hurley & the Miles are walking through the jungle Sawyer says something like "we were lucky none of us died back there" and Miles replies, "I'm not to sure about that". Should have clued in right then, but I didn't.

2. Is Christian like the "host" body for Jacob??? Is that why his body was missing from the coffin???

3. Richard appearing was THE SHIT!!!!!!!!! holla.

4. This show fucks with my brain.

7. Perhaps Christian is lying.
He told John that Aaron is where he is supposed to be. Charlie tells Hugo to tell Jack that Jack isn't supposed to be raising Aaron. Think back to the psychic telling Claire that SHE needs to raise Aaron. There are some competing stories here.

I am so glad that LOST has two more years to fuck with my brain.

8. I don't remember. Was Claire aware that Christian was her real father?
He came to the hospital when her mother was dying?

9. Yeah she was..
a couple of episodes ago, she saw Christian, and said, "Dad?" . Also, I wouldn't be surprised if Christian is somehow Locke's dad. Another thing, what about the guy that came to child-Locke? He was on the island a season or two ago-- kind of a co-leader with Ben, if I remember.

10. And I was going to ask abut that last week
How did she know that Christian was her dad?

Richard Alper - the one who got Ben to kill all the Dharma crowd, the one who lured Juliette to the "lab" the one who never grows old, the one who got Locke to get Sawyer to kill his dad.

Yes, a very menacing character that, no doubt, will be revealed as an important man in the Island.

"Claire later returns to visit her mother to find an American doctor, Christian Shephard, in the room, lightly touching her mother's forearm. When Lindsey enters the room, she immediately demands to know why he is there and begins to argue heatedly with him. Claire is confused as to his identity and how Lindsey knows him. Eventually the man reveals that he is Claire's father, whom she had been told was dead."

12. Ooh.. I forgot about Locke's "dad"
Edited on Fri May-09-08 02:54 PM by crimsonblue
Was it really his dad? I never could figure that out. I thought he was just a long-conman. I can't wait to find out who Jacob actually is.. I bet it will blow our minds... any guesses?

edit: removed wrong speculation abt claire-christian.

13. I think that he was. How else could they match the kidneys?
But in addition he was a con man.

I think that Jacob is anything that anyone's figment desires to be.

14. I only ask
because his dad didn't look like he was in his 80s. Locke's mom was said to be half the age of the father (she was 15-18, pegging the day in his early 30s.). Locke was born in '56, so the dad would have been in his 80s when shown being killed by Sawyer in the shed.
