Still stuck on the medicine-go-round

AARGH. Two weeks now and still no Pegasys..I called the people at Mayo who are handling the appeal and the woman was like "haven't you had a couple of shots of it?" Apparantly the pharmacy has yet to get a hold of the meds or is holding them until they get approval from the insurance company because they haven't called me to tell me it is in...And no response yet from the insurance company.
So the Mayo people are gonna try to get a new script written..send it to a Mayo pharmacy and have them ship it to me. She doesn't know if this is gonna work. Meanwhile although I feel okay at the moment (although I feel a headache starting) I'm walking around untreated basically with super high platelets...ARGGH.:banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
I hate our fucking health care system. BTW..John McCain and his 30 minutes of exercise solution--go jump in a lake ya moron!:grr:

I know how frustrating it is.

Its the insurance people holding it up...Possibly for 30 days before they make a decision...I really can't afford the $500 dollars or so it will cost me to pay for it out of pocket.
