I'd be sleeping now if I could stop coughing

I've had what I lovingly call "the plague" for a week and two days now. Most of it has been about a tanker of sinus drainage, but after I started antibiotics, it seems to have sunk into my chest. I am now coughing my head off, but I can breathe.

Trust me, stay back, you don't want this. :loveya:

5. I left this out...I missed seeing Hillary because of the plague

She stopped here yesterday briefly, and I was going to go, but I couldn't walk without wheezing.

For the record - I figured this might be my last chance to see her this time around. I don't seriously think that she has a chance anymore, although I was behind her in the beginning. I was in Texas visiting before their primary and I got to see Bill, I'm disappointed that I missed her. I vote in the last primary in the nation!

TAKE COUGH MEDICINE

i coughed so hard, i fucked up something in my side and it still hurts three days later. i just found delsyn cough medicine (12 hour) and that seems to do okay.

and then i drink something (milk or water)to try and get rid of that tickle.

i know, it's not good--and not fun.

would hot shower steam help? or boiling water and breathing in the steam?

13. Try Olbas Herbal Cough Drops

Your symptoms describe what I went through all of March and most of April.
My wife brought home Olbas cough drops for me to try and the damned things
really did help me get the sleep I desperately needed. They dissolve so slowly
that one sometimes lasts through the night.
I hope you feel better soon.

14. It took a few years for me to realize that virtually every "cold" like that I got during this

season was bad airborne allergies. Acquired at age 50. Bad cough, sore throat, stuffy head, itchy everything -- all the symptoms of a cold, but unresponsive to standard treatments for bacterial or viral colds. It's bad and can last weeks. It's grim. My sympathies!

16. I haven't been sick once this year.

And I attribute my good fortune to Airborne, the jolly little fizzy tablet full of stuff that improves immunity. Others in my household have been repeatedly sick this year. I am a stickler about washing my hands, and I take Airborne every day.
