Pernicious Earworm
I hate this, when a really stupid song gets into my brain.

And I mean STUPID. I'm sorry, but maybe I'm behind the times, and the song is just one of those that some younger folk might like, but that just doesn't fit my lifestyle! :P

That new iPod commercial song. It's really got to be the suckiest "song" I've ever heard. At the end, the singer says, "Shut up and let me go!" I say, "SHUT UP AND GO AWAY!!!"

Sheesh. THIS is what passes as "music" nowadays? Yikes!

This commercial and this song will go down in history as one of the most insipid, most "nails on a blackboard" tunes I've ever had the most displeasure of listening to.

1. I get the jingles stuck in my head
Particularly that one from Subway. It sucks.

2. I keep a constant supply of CDs nearby for just such an occasion.
As soon as that happens I pop in something I actually like and viola, problem solved. :)
