Which of these two audio samples sounds better to you? (From last night's Cure show)
I <ahem> happen to be in possession of a recording of last night's Cure concert. Below is an unaltered sample of the recording, taken from "Boys Don't Cry":

Then we have a slightly tweaked version to boost the bass. For those who care about such things I've increased the 63 Hz, 80 Hz and 100 Hz bands by 16.6 dB each.

2. I don't have a trained ear for that sort of thing... they BOTH sound great!!
Sooooooo jealous!!

If you need an offsite backup of that whole recording... let me know, I'd be happy to keep it safe for you! ;)

I think maybe the second one, but that's just from listening over these crappy laptop speakers. Maybe I'll listen back on headphones.

5. It was quite good. Here's the setlist:

1st encore: If Only Tonight We Could Sleep, The Kiss
2nd encore: Freakshow, Close To Me, Why Can't I Be You?
3rd encore: Three Imaginary Boys, Fire In Cairo, Boys Don't Cry, Jumping Someone Else's Train, Grinding Halt, 10:15 Saturday Night, Killing An Arab.

7. Wow! I would have liked to arrive for the third encore...
that's a great set of songs
I really prefer that earlier material to their other stuff
