I know my stepdad had to be the only parent after his first wife died and before he met my mom. And I know that couldn't have been easy for him.

8. My ex got custody of our child cuz he thought he could do a better job.

He also managed to sue me for child custody payments for nearly her whole life up through high school graduation, just because he COULD in Texas. In Texas we have community property, which means the wife is truly equal. He thinks he knows everything.

He did this to punish me for having the child (we were already married) in the first place and he wanted to take his rage out on me. :shrug:

He was the one with the cushy, steady job, with continually increasing income, and I was the one with a whole lot more education who couldn't find anything much after everything fell apart in the mid-90s.

Women have to pay child support too, sorry, it's not all the man's responsibility.
My parents and my boyfriend have had to pay my child support so I wouldn't go to jail when I couldn't find a job.

Now my ex lives in a yuppie palace that is worth $350,000 and he now owns a BMW dirt bike. How nice.
