yes, I am still in Hawai'i. However, after an absence of a year and a half, Zatarain's rice mixes have suddenly reappeared at my local store. Other chains out here have had them all along, but I told myself that if I started making special trips just to get Zat's, it was probably time to go back to N.O.

edit: spelling

12. Pasta salad with asparagus, carrots, chick peas, celery,
some onions, a little albacore, and capers.

Made it earlier in the day, and right about now all the flavors have blended nicely... good stuff.

I haven't had KFC since the last time I visited my mom - about 2 years ago (I need to get out there!). She LOOOVES it.

If you're craving something different and have a can of pumpkin gathering dust in the pantry, I highly recommend trying this! :9

Sometimes things are said tongue-in-cheek in this forum, so I am hesitant to say anything.

25. Don't care if it's tongue in cheek or not. It's disgusting
anyone that eats that shit is digesting a bad death. Not much to argue with there, eh?

btw--I have never advocated being a vegetarian on this board. That's not what this is about. This is about the disgusting way those chickens live and die--and people put that in their mouths, eat it, and digest it.

Gross.

Pan fried in olive oil, topped with a little freshly ground sea salt and dried garlic - as well as some generic Mrs. Dash type seasoning. Served plain (no bun) on a plate - eaten with sliced fresh tomato and onion. Good stuff - and doesn't require much effort. :D
