We are this stinking close to flying cars. *this close*

World's smallest one-man helicopter, GEN H-4, is seen here flying in the city of Matsumoto, Nagano prefecture, central Japan. It will soon take flight in the birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci, who is credited with having first thought of a vertical-flight machine, according to its developer.

2. We will not be stopped by high fuel prices,...

With people flying down the Autobahn at 230 kph (something like 140 mph),

CD player? Ashtray? Cup holders? Air conditioning? Side-impact protection? Garmin?

It'll never fly.

7. Stage 1: Flying cars.
Stage 2: Flying cars with subwoofers and truck nuts.
Stage 3: Air rage.

I'd only buy a flying car if it sounded like the Jetsons vehicles.

8. I can't use THAT....
How would I be able to: talk on the phone, text message, eat, drink, fiddle with my iPod, watch my Garmin, plug in a DVD for my kid (heck, where would I PUT my kid?) in that thing?

....said the commuter that was nearly creamed 5 times on the way to work by multi-taskers....

15. We already have one flying car in our neighborhood. Moller has been playing with it for years
Edited on Wed May-14-08 12:34 PM by BrotherBuzz
Apparently it really flies, but the FAA requires it remain tethered to a cable.
