So the soap actor I had a crush on in the 80's is a Dem!

Okay, yes, I watched "Days of Our Lives" faithfully when I was young. My favorite actor, Charles Shaughnessy, who played Shane Donovan, who made my heart go pitter-patter, is a Dem. I stumbled across his MySpace page and low and behold he is a true-blue Dem. Gotta love that. :) He also was in "The Nanny" for those who watched that show as well. To me, though, he will always be Shane Donovan.

Just thought I would share this dorky news. :hi:

I had to wean myself off of "Days" because there was no time for it. Although, my daytime soap addiction has turned to "Lost" and "Grey's Anatomy" at night. Old habits die hard. :hi:

I know he's English by birth. I never watched the Nanny, but back in the day, decades before DVR, I used to record my mother's soap operas for her to watch after work, and I saw him a lot on "Days Of Our Lives".

I hope he can vote over here...
