5. Is it a peace rose?
My favorites! I tried to grow them, but they would freeze out over the winter.

Gorgeous! Thanks for sharing, Ptah. :hi:

16. Looks like a Peace
I have a Peace rose and eight others, some of which we inherited and we're not sure what they are.

13. My roses have not bloomed yet. One bush has a dozen buds
on it. I will try to get pix and post when they bloom. I do have an "old-timey" rose bush that has already bloomed out....looks like this ... and then turns pink tipped, very sweet aroma.

this a pink version

9. That really is exquisite... Roses require a lot of care.
What is the name? My mother used to grow roses and my favorite was "Snowfire," which I gave her... This is also a bi-color.:loveya:

I like your red and white!

12. It's absolutely beautiful! If you grew it, perhaps you can name it... ;)
"Snowfire" was very cool, completely red on the outside of each petal and white on the inside. It was a tea rose, so they were pretty big. But yours is equally lovely...:hi:

15. It is probably not special.
I bought it at Safeway on impulse.

19. I think it is. The varied colored ones always are.
Did it have a tag? LOL. They usually come with one, giving the name. My OCD mother never removed them, ever... :-)

17. Thank you Ptah!
But it's too late to have a nice evening after a nasty fight with my ex (and I ended up swearing like a sailor).

But I'll gratefully accept the rose :)

Khash.

22. Okay, I read the rest of this thread, LOL, and I agree. It's "Peace."
My mother had that, as well, and I remember, a spectacular rose. And yours sure is. And what an appropriate choice, LOL. And who knew I'd remember so much about roses?:hi:

Peace:
