1. I've never had to deal with them.
I am pretty satisfied with RIC and BWI, though.

2. DFW isn't so bad with the new train system there
I still hate the fact that no direct flights exist from my airport and will travel an hour or two to take a direct flight rather than have to shuffle around DFW though.

Yeah, I guess it sucks :P

8. There's a massage place in one of the American terminals.
B, I think. It's a little nail and/or hair place and they also do foot massage and chair massage. You can take the train there if you're not at B -- I'd ask one of the airport ambassadors where it is exactly. Also, don't forget the wine bar in terminal D. :D

10. Aw, heck, I was there last week in terminal D, I think it was
and I didn't see the wine bar! I was flying SunCountry, so I was at the "Timbuktu" terminal.

9. but ORD is worse because they move your gate 5 minutes before boarding
to the other side of the airport and unlike DFW, there is no train. :banghead:

i think they do it for entertainment purposes only.

12. Yeah, I'm picking up my son today at DFW. I have to check online
right before I leave, since the flight can come in at any given terminal. It's really American Airlines' fault, and I've come to know the airport like the back of my hand, since I'm there so often.

13. the DFW website is great, gives you the gate etc. which is a major thing
if you are using American. If it is any other airline not so bad, because the other airlines each have a single terminal location instead of the 4 terminals used by AA.

Once I went to pick up my mom, and they not only changed her gate assignment ...they changed the terminal! AFTER she took off from Nashville. Fortunately, after I checked the original arrival spot, and no FLIGHT from Nashville, the wonderful SkyCaps took good care of me. I love the AA SkyCaps @ DFW they are awesome guys. They found the Nashville flight, gave me EXACT, to the letter directions to navigate the maze you have to go through to get there and all was well. This was back around 1990 when security was looser but the SkyCaps are still right out there in the departure area, and are most helpful. I always tip them nicely when they check my bags for me, because I have always been served well by them.
