I'm doing my final music project - for the lulz.

I have to do an orchestral arrangement of an existing song for my music composition class.

I'm doing it of "C is for Cookie." From Sesame Street.

Don't write for the french horn players above a concert F or they'll come after you and beat you to death with their mutes.

For my graduate school music theory project we had to write an art song in the style of a 20th century composer. I chose to imitate Stravinsky's neo-classic period and used for my text an Ogden Nash poem. My instructor said it sounded like Mozart on acid. I took that as a compliment.
