So the Kitteh got a new water fountain today:

He who will only drink running water. Smart boy. He also got more adult Wellness food, dry and canned, and tube of Malt-flavored Petromalt™, to help with the hairballs.

He's a spoiled boy. x(

1. I suppose you let him sit on your lap too...
Man, if I die and come back as something, I want to come back as your cat...

4. THe noise. How much does it make?
I live in a studio, so there is no higher concern than noise.

5. Very quiet...Less so than the other one we had, which was this one:

That was one louder. This one, I only hear the water running. Happy me, happy kitteh. :)

6. the fountain or the kitteh?
or all the baby talk? Kitty mamas make most of the noise, or art least around here that is the way it goes.

7. Forgive my ignorance
but why is running water so preferable over, say, some left in a bowl?

Interesting in any case, pretty cool.

9. Cats are smart. They know that moving water is more fresh than standing.

10. Left in a bowl
it gets stale. Wanna drink a glass of water you left on the kitchen counter yesterday? If it's running it gets oxygenated and tastes fresher.

Khash.

11. Grandkitteh gives it 5 stars.
DD bought him the fountain and he's been quite the happy cat since then. He no longer attempts to drink out of the fish tank filters.

Your kitteh will love it.

12. We got a different one for the cats and dog to share
and the dog is quite afraid of it whenever the reservoir tank gurgles. It's really kind of sad and cute and funny: like zombie kittens.

13. my cats had one of those...
LOVED it. Until the dog came. They didn't like it once a big goofy slobbery dog messed it up.

15. That's why I was afraid to get one...
Goofy slobbering dog here has already messed up the cat bed by jealously stuffing her fluffy, big butt into it...
