Do you have an article of clothing that your significant other would like to burn?
My girlfriend indirectly said I wear shirts that have stains on them and figured I didn't care how I looked. More likely, my stain-dar just isn't as acute as hers.

However, I have had other significant others diss my cargo pants, glasses, and tennis shoes.

Anybody else have something your significant other would like to burn?

Do girls ever get this from guys, or do we really not care as long as you are clothed in public and naked at home (with us)?

4. i have a sweat jacket that my whole family like to throw in to a volcano.
it is my favorite article of clothing, the zipper pull broke about a year ago but i can still zip up because i but a paper clip through the whole, it's frayed everywhere and it has a bleach stain on it. Oh yeah it's also about 4 sizes too big but i got it on the clearance rack for $8.00, when it was new it was pretty nice looking but i still love and wear no matter how bad it looks now.

So suck it family, you'll have to pry it from my cold dead hands.

5. I don't know
My lover asks stuff like "Does this shirt mean a lot to you" and then rips it to shreds while I'm wearing it. I'm not sure if he's really turned on or just doesn't like my clothes!

Khash.

Seriously, my wife went through my closet shortly after we were married 20-something years ago and got rid of my platform shoes, leisure suits, anything polyester, etc.

7. A guy can't tell a girl that her clothes are bad.
A girl can tell a guy that his clothes are bad. That's why my wife shops for me. (Though she still complains about some of it, and the response is "yes dear" even though she bought it).

8. Yes, a t-shirt which pictures a 67 poster that Guy Peelart painted for...
the Crazy Horse Saloon. Smack in the middle of all of that psychedelia is a naked woman whose crotch is covered by a swastika.
For the life of me, I can't figure out why ms mitchum disapproves of the shirt.
What gives?

9. No.
Should I ever acquire a significant other, however, that situation could change drastically, literally overnight.

12. I bought a second hand winter coat about 22 years ago. I remember exactly where
I got it. It was oversized at the time and very warm. My mother hated it because it was a man's coat and looked quite ratty. I loved it and kept it till this year (I also grew into it). I forgot how often she tried to get me to throw it out. I should tell her it is in the garbage. She'll be thrilled.

13. The "camp shirt". It's a shirt I have worn camping every time I've gone
since I was 14 (24 years ago). My husband used to entice me to throw it into the campfire every time we went camping from age 26 on up. I still have it.

16. yep
My girlfriend has a list of clothes that I'm not allowed to wear around her. One, in particular, that she hates is a light blue T-shirt from a highschool production of Oklahoma that I was in. It has stains on it. I really like that shirt!

18. I don't think so. No, well, wait...
I do have a couple of pair of lounge pants that he'd probably happily see burned.

They are beautiful "sun washed cotton" from JCrew in a style that fits like a dream. They do not carry this particular style anymore, so I guard what I have rather jealously. Unfortunately, they are several years old and wearing out to the point that my husband gets exasperated when he sees me wearing them.

unless it was made of tinfoil or asbestos or something.
