11/2 lbs. hamburg
1 large onion, chopped
1 large can tomato sauce
1 large can tomatoes
1 cup chopped celery

YUM!

Edit to add; If you're feeling a little reckless, throw in some chunks of cheddar cheese at the end. EXTRA YUM!

8. My mom used to put mushrooms in, I sure loved that stuff.
Sadly my kids have never had real AMC because one doesn't like onions and the other doesn't like peppers. :-(

3. Bulkies rolls and american chop suey aren't universal?
WTF? Wow.

Hell, those two go great together. Many meals I've had consisted of a warm buttered bulkie dipped in american chop suey.

MMmmmmm. :9

PS: it's not just Mass. You mass people always think Mass=New England.
Massholes.

6. haha. Yep I also learned that people in other places don't
call elastics elastics - they call them, get this...rubber bands!

P.S. the website is not even about all of Mass. - it's only Boston people who talk like that :-)

11. I call them elastics
 we use a lot of them at work to wrap around reels of film. People tease me about it all the time. I thought it must be a British or Canadian thing.
