I am on ...........YouTube!

Today, I read my poem that's appearing in my college's magazine, The Myriad... My good friend puerco-bellies very kindly taped me! Then we came home, and he recorded me reading the other poem... What courage! You read your poetry in front of a crowd. I applaud you. I also loved your poem regarding your love. I know you have been married a long time -- the poem says so much of your love for your husband. You found your soulmate. Btw, is that stained glass window in your home? Thanks! I've gotten used to reciting my poetry in front of crowds, since I've been going to a weekly open mic for several months now... It does get easier! The stained glass is in my home, and when I have a chance later, I'll post a pic of it for you... :hug:

And you inspire others by starting a whole new career/interest after 55. Who says you can't live life over? Your doing it differently than the first life is the true inspiration. Besides, I just don't "get" poetry. I've tried, even getting an F in college in an elective course I took simply because I wanted to "get" poetry. You're doing wonderfully!

Oh my god... For me, to not grow is to die... And I'm not ready for that just yet! You never know just where the road will go...especially if you let it lead... My life's had more than its share of twists and turns, and they have inspired me... There's a lot of poetry that I don't "get" either... But that doesn't stop me from writing mine!
