Poll question: Should I watch Oprah or go for a swim?
I have the day off, after being sick yesterday and this morning. I never get to watch Oprah, which is a guilty pleasure - the topic today is "How to Look Good Naked" with Carson Kressley from Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, who I like. Most of the time when I get to watch Oprah it's some New Age nonsense or depressing "Why Men Cheat" type of topic. However, I am not super interested in the topic.

So should I watch Oprah and then get in the pool at 5:00, or should I get in the pool now and get an extra hour of sun - with no neighbors in the pool?

7. If you are suffering from a negative self-image based on your weight
it might have been good for you to watch Oprah. Carson spent the hour with two women who didn't like themselves and he seemed to have a very positive impact on their self-esteem by the end of the show. I know Oprah puts on a lot of silly stuff but this episode was pretty good. If you missed it, I think Carson will have a show called "How to Look Good Naked" on the Lifetime channel. That way you can watch him without Oprah.

11. Best of both worlds. Get a long extension cord and....
... go swimming with Oprah! It will shock the neighbors. Or you.

12. Given the choice between watching Oprah and not watching Oprah...
Not watching Oprah is always the right choice.

15. No DVR, or (shock horror) VCR?
Then you can go swim and at night watch Oprah. Or when you're sick again and the pool's closed.

I love Dr. Who. Doesn't mean I'm religiously glued to the Sci Fi Channel each Friday night.

Mark.

Enjoy the swim. :) :hi:
